About Kathleen Shaputis

Kathleen Shaputis is well experienced in the headline lifestyles of the baby boomer generation, balancing her day job with a second career in writing and professional speaking. Published author of Grandma Online and The Crowded Nest Syndrome, her work includes three non-fiction and three novels (three traditional, two self-published, one POD) and ghostwriter of a dozen books.

Kathleen presents at various writers conferences and community colleges on writing, marketing, book printing and self-publishing.

Her day job is working for Gorham Printing, a short-run book printer in western Washington where Kathleen assists authors and small presses through the design process and production of their self-published books.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, Kathleen enjoys multi-tasking between work and writing, while cheering on her grandsons over the years through baseball or football. Her husband, Bob, helps keep her on track.
